Join us the weekend of April 16-18, 2010 for our first-ever CRAFTING for MISSIONS Weekend Retreat at the Flowery Branch HOME retreat location-- $100 per person, all-inclusive of meals!
WHAT WE'RE DOIN' ~ Throwing a weekend retreat for all types of crafters to help send LAUREN SCHENK to South Africa this summer with Campus Outreach. Lauren is a North Georgia University student who worships at our church in Gainesville, Westminster Church. When we heard she was raising support to be able to spend 2 months at the University of Johannesburg with Campus Outreach, we wanted to help. So ALL of our registration fees collected for this special weekend will go directly to Lauren's support account.
WHEN ~ Friday noon through Sunday noon, April 16-18
ADDED VALUE ~ Normally, our HOME retreats in Flowery Branch are lodging only with no meals. But THIS particular weekend retreat is ALL-INCLUSIVE of meals--5 of them, starting with Friday supper, ending with Sunday breakfast. WOO-HOO!! Yet it's the same rate: $100 per person (thanks to Lauren and her friends for providing these meals) DAY GUESTS also welcome at $50 per person.

Day after Thanksgiving: Went shopping for a Christmas tree & returned home with a free puppy left in a box at the tree lot the night before. Named her Holly -- she's part corgi, part you-name-it. She's a handful, as any puppy would be, but we love her. We think you will, too, when you meet her.
Holly's already diggin' the craft of scrapbooking & she's suggesting we run a special group rate every other month, to celebrate her adoption into our family!
The 1st HOLLY DATE will be 5 months after we got her: April 30-May 2
The next HOLLY DATE will be 7 months after we got her: June 25-27
The next HOLLY DATE will be 9 months after we got her: Aug. 27-29
The last HOLLY DATE will be 11 months after we got her: Oct. 22-24
SPECIAL for GROUPS: Choose one of the dates above & deposit $200 for a $850 weekend (max. 12 people for Friday noon thru Sun noon). Your balance of $650 won't be due until 2 weeks before your event, giving you plenty of time to fill up your weekend. Applies to the Scrappin' HOME Retreat location only (Flowery Branch, GA). Normal weekend rates are $1,000 -- you save $150! BONUS: Free printed family fold card of your weekend photos for each scrapper--prepared by Karen using Heritage Makers digital scrapbooking system.
